Friday Knights Jiujitsu at BJJ Club of Michigan

If you feel like doing something fun, social, mentally and physically productive on your Friday night instead of drinking and eating bar food, why not try Brazilian Jiujitsu?

BJJ Club of Michigan invites you to participate in The Knight Life: A night filled with Jiujitsu Fun and Activities every other Friday from 9pm to 11pm. Check our schedule on Meetup to see what Jiujitsu themed fun we have going on!

We welcome everyone (Especially those with no experience) to a welcoming social environment where we strive to make learning jiujitsu fun.

Every Meetup will be a little different but always active and always hands on for all participants.

Some Activities we have scheduled:

Open mat, Intro to Gracie Combatives or Self Defense Training, Light Roll (sparring) games, Jiujitsu matches and Art Show, Music/ Live DJ and Rolls, Martial Art themed Seminars and Presentations, Jiujitsu Potluck (Snack Table) etc.

Cost: $15 Donation at the door

Rules:

All Participants of The Knight Life must:

Have ID and fill out indemnity waiver.

Wear work out clothes or a gi when training.

Bring a pair of sandals.

Be 18+ or 16+ accompanied by parent.

Be well washed and groomed before getting on the mats. (Clip nails)

Not be intoxicated.

Have a good positive attitude.

Be respectful to the Gym, hosts, fellow participants and especially themselves.

Get rid of their ego when walking into the dojo. Tap when uncomfortable.

Have fun and be willing to learn.

Try to be on time (No later than 9:15pm)

Failure to follow these guidelines means no participation or ejection from the mats.
