Thorough training will be provided to individuals with a caring heart and desire to be apart of a passionate team!   AGENDA11:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - Check in / Networking period11:15 a.m. - 11:35 a.m. - Career Exploration Presentation 11:35 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Q&A 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Opportunity for Interviews for Prospective Applicants  To be eligible for an interview, candidates must have a High School Diploma, GED and/or proven ability to read and write; must have a valid driver's license; must have an acceptable driving record; must be at least 18 years old; and must be acceptable under the State of Michigan's Good Moral Statute. The Rehabilitation Assistant also comes with some physical demands.  They are: Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds. Ability to lift, transfer, rotate, push, pull and assist patients weighing up to 150 pounds who are partially or totally dependent for moving about and maneuvering a manual wheelchair. Other physical requirements include stooping, bending, twisting, standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift. Must be able to execute physical restraint techniques, including bringing patient safely to the ground level. Must be able to execute CPR and other emergency first aid procedures according to prescribed standards.  Visit to learn more about the Rehabilitation Assistant opportunities available at Rainbow!   FAQs  Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Yes. You must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is free.  What can I bring into the event? It's always good practice to bring an updated resume. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes. We have VERY limited setting.    Are children allowed? Unfortunately not. We have very limited seating.  Will food be provided? Of course! Lunch will be provided! I only have enough time for the presentation.  Can I schedule the interview at a later date? No problem.  We can arrange that.
